Huddle Leader Application Process

Camp Huddle Leader Volunteer Impact Portal (VIP)

Steps:

  1. Click thelink and create an FCA account. https://vip.fca.org/login
  2. Use PERSONAL email for account (NOT school email. Once you graduate, we want to make sure you still have access to VIP.)
  3. Provide personal information
  4. Verify Email and Create Password
  5. Provide 4 personal references (they WILL receive an emailed 1min form they MUST fill out for you).
  6. Jonny P or Ellie can be references if you know us/we know you.
  7. Jonny P = jpeterson@fca.org
  8. Ellie = emichaletz@fca.org
  9. Respond to the FCA Christian Community Statement (CCS)
  10. Read through this fully and ask if you have any questions or want to talk more about a section.
  11. Answer Spiritual Profile Questions
  12. These don’t have to be a book but answer it thoroughly :)
  13. Waivers & Policies
  14. Let JP/Ellie know when you have finished all of this so she can look through and approve your application.
  15. Once one of the Huddle Leader Coordinators has approved your application, you will receive an email to begin your background check from ‘noreply@rosterfy.co’ through the organization “Asurint”. 
  16.  Check your email for a background check application from ‘noreply@rosterfy.co’ through the organization “Asurint”. 
  17. If you don’t see it, check your junk mail inbox (you can also search for their email)
  18. ASURINT, our background check provider, will then begin the review process. You will be given the option to pay for this yourself, please select to have FCA cover this cost.
  19.  Once you finish your background check application, either search for Northland FCA Sports Camp in the programs or click the direct link on the bottom of this document. This will take you to the page where you can apply to the Role as Huddle Leader at camp.
  20.  There are 2 training sessions you will need to do before I can confirm your role as a volunteer (E3 Overview and Child Abuse Prevention). If you have completed the E3 overview but it didn’t transfer, let either JP or Ellie know so they can reach out to the support center.
  21.  On your dashboard, you should be able to see if you need to do anything. 
  22. To do this, click on “Journey Progress” to see what your next step is. 
  23. If you have completed everything, let me know and I can check on my end if there’s anything else left for you to do!
